Sarah West, 34, was diagnosed with breast cancer in February last year, and two weeks later she was told that it was terminal. Sarah has written the book, Mummy's Got a Poorly, to try to help children deal with their parents suffering with cancer. Despite the story being her own story, it is quite generic, and it could be anybody’s parents or grandparents or anybody with cancer, which can hopefully help a lot of people deal with the life changing news.
All funds from the book will be going to The Osborne Trust, which provides practical and emotional support for children and young people through a parent’s cancer treatment.
